Sarajevo Airport - information

Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ) is the largest airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located 9 kilometres from the centre of Sarajevo, the largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sarajevo Airport is currently undergoing capacity expansion, and with the construction of the new Terminal B, Sarajevo Airport is expected to be one of the most modern and busiest airports in the region.

Sarajevo Airport is considered a medium-sized airport in terms of its size, which means you don't have to worry about whether you will arrive on time for your flight with Balkan Transfer, even if you arrive at your flight 1 hour before the flight time. Of course, Balkan Transfer passengers always arrive at the airport 2 hours before the flight time, which is more than enough for normal passport control and boarding your flight.

At Sarajevo Airport, you have all the necessary logistical infrastructure to comfortably spend your time waiting for your flight. At the airport itself, there is an available cafe-bar (ground floor) and a restaurant (on the upper floor) in the check-in area and another snack bar in the area after crossing the border. In addition, the airport has its duty-free shop, VIP lounge, and other necessities for a pleasant travel experience (ATMs, post office, currency exchange, etc.).

In front of the terminal building, Sarajevo Airport has a parking lot with a capacity of 307 spaces with parking prices per hour or per day. More information about parking prices can be found on the Sarajevo Airport website.
