The journey between Sarajevo Airport and Tuzla takes about 2 hours, depending on the time of departure and current traffic congestion.

Sarajevo International Airport (SJJ) is the largest airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located 9 kilometers from the center of Sarajevo, the largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Sarajevo Airport is currently undergoing capacity expansion, and it is expected that with the construction of the new Terminal B, Sarajevo Airport will be one of the most modern and busiest airports in the region.

Due to its size, Sarajevo Airport is considered a medium-sized airport, which means you don't have to worry at all about whether you will arrive on time for your flight with Balkan Transfer, even if you arrive for your flight 1 hour before the actual flight time. Of course, Balkan Transfer passengers always arrive at the airport 2 hours before the flight, which is more than enough for normal passage through passport control and boarding your flight.

At Sarajevo airport, you have all the necessary logistics infrastructure to spend your time comfortably waiting for your flight. At the airport itself, you have access to a cafe-bar (ground floor) and a restaurant (upstairs) in the check-in area and another snack bar in the area after crossing the border. Don't worry, it's not difficult to reach Tuzla from the Sarajevo Airport, or vice versa.

Although Tuzla is not very far from the Sarajevo Airport (122 kilometers), there is currently no direct public transportation that you can use to easily and efficiently travel between these two locations.

Buses to Sarajevo are available from the Tuzla bus station to the Sarajevo bus station and vice versa, but to reach the airport, you need to additionally pay for a taxi or use public transportation by using the Sarajevo tram or trolleybus along part of the route you need to pass to or from the airport itself.
