The Sarajevo airport is currently undergoing expansion to increase its capacity. With the construction of the new Terminal B, Sarajevo Airport is expected to become one of the region's most modern and busiest airports.​

In terms of size, Sarajevo Airport is considered a medium-sized airport, which means you don't have to worry at all about whether you will arrive on time for your flight with Balkan Transfer, even if you arrive at the airport 1 hour before the scheduled flight time. Don't worry, it's not difficult to get to Travnik from Sarajevo Airport, and vice versa.

Although Travnik is not very far from Sarajevo Airport (90 kilometers), there is currently no direct public transportation that you can use to easily and efficiently transport yourself between these two locations.

Buses to Sarajevo are available from Travnik bus station to Sarajevo bus station and vice versa, but to get to the airport, you have to additionally pay for a taxi or use public transportation by using the Sarajevo tram or trolleybus along part of the road that you have to pass to or from the airport itself.
