Sarajevo Airport - informationSarajevo International Airport (SJJ) is the largest airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located 9 kilometers from the center of Sarajevo, the largest city in the country. The Sarajevo airport is currently undergoing capacity expansion, and with the construction of the new Terminal B, it is expected to become one of the most modern and busiest airports in the region. In terms of size, Sarajevo Airport is considered a medium-sized airport, which means you don't have to worry at all about whether you will arrive on time for your flight with Balkan Transfer, even if you arrive 1 hour before the scheduled departure time. Of course, Balkan Transfer passengers always arrive at the airport 2 hours before their flight, which is more than enough time for normal passport control and boarding. Although Jablanica is not far from Sarajevo Airport (75 kilometers), there is currently no direct public transportation available for efficient and easy transfer between these two locations. Buses to Sarajevo are available from the bus station in Jablanica to the bus station in Sarajevo and vice versa, but to reach the airport, you would need to pay for an additional taxi or use public transportation by taking the Sarajevo tram or trolleybus, followed by a portion of the journey that you would need to walk to or from the airport.
