Tuzla Airport - information

International Airport Tuzla (TZL) is the second largest airport in BiH, and is located 15 kilometers from Tuzla, the third largest city in BiH, and 113 kilometers from the capital Sarajevo.

Balkan Transfer has its office at Tuzla Airport, and you will notice us in the arrival terminal, or right in front of the terminal where we have our parking spaces.

Although with a small and outdated infrastructure, the airport has experienced an awakening in recent years with the arrival of the low-budget company Wizzair, which offered regular flights to about 15 destinations in Europe. This has attracted more than 500,000 passengers a year, arriving at or departing from this airport.

The traffic still takes place in the old terminal, and only the most basic infrastructure is available to passengers at the airport, including one cafe-restaurant. The terminal is very small, with a maximum of 10 flights a day. Don’t worry about being late, even if you only arrive an hour before the flight. There is no wireless internet for passengers at the airport.

Sarajevo - information

Don't worry, it's not difficult to get to Sarajevo from Tuzla Airport. This is perhaps the best way to get to Sarajevo, as you can take advantage of cheap flights to Tuzla.

Although Sarajevo is not far from Tuzla Airport (113 kilometers), there is currently no public transport you can use. Buses to Sarajevo are available from Tuzla and Živinice, but to get there from the airport, you have to pay a taxi. Passengers therefore recognized the Balkan Transfer van as the best option. In about two hours, with a new van, you will arrive at any address in Sarajevo. The same goes if you go from Sarajevo to Tuzla Airport.
