International Airport Banja Luka (BNX) it is the third largest airport in BiH, and is located 25 kilometers from Banja Luka, the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and 238 kilometers from Sarajevo.

Although considered a medium-sized airport, Banja Luka Airport has experienced an awakening in recent years with the arrival of low-budget companies RyanAir and WizzAir, which have offered regular flights to about 10 destinations in Europe. The traffic takes place in the old terminal, and only the most basic infrastructure is available to passengers at the airport, including one cafe-restaurant. The terminal is very small, with a maximum of 7/8 flights a day. Don’t worry about being late, even if you arrive just an hour before the flight.

Sarajevo - information

Don't worry, it's not difficult to get to Sarajevo from Banja Luka airport. This is perhaps the best way to get to Sarajevo, since you can take advantage of the cheap flights available at Banja Luka Airport.

Sarajevo is about 238 kilometers from Banja Luka Airport, but it is mostly connected by highway, so the drive takes just under 3 hours. There is currently no public transport available that you can use. Buses to Sarajevo are available from Banja Luka once a day. Additional travel information
